GUERLAIN Perfume and GUERLAIN Cologne
The House of Guerlain has a long and rich history, dating back to its inception in Paris in 1828. As one of the oldest perfume houses in the World, Guerlain has a huge and loyal fan base.
Guerlain fragrances are said to be inspired by the scent of confections, as a result of a common vanilla and amber accord in many of their fragrances. This is often referred to as the 'Guerlinade'.
The success of the house under Pierre-François Guerlain reached dizzying heights in 1853 when its Eau de Cologne Impérial led to Pierre-François earning the prestigious title of being His Majesty's Official Perfumer in France. In turn Guerlain created perfumes for Queen Victoria and Queen Isabella II of Spain, among other royalty.
